5 out of 5 stars The best action game pad   November 12, 2002

I have used this extensively for sports games (my favorite is currently FIFA world cup 2002,) and been amazed with the customizablility of this keypad. Firstly, the feel is similar to the original Sony Playstation controller, but it offers much more functionalilty. If you are interested in a light, balanced, and responsive control pad, this is the one for you!

5 out of 5 stars The Action Gamepad by Logitech   June 30, 2002

This is a excellent game pad for its price. Once I took it out of its box and held it I liked the feel of it in my hands. It feels like an Nintendo 64 controller but with sega gensis type buttons on the front. This pad is good for people with big or small hands, because I like it and so does my 12 year old little brother.

Installing this pad was great. All I did was put the disk in, and in ten minutes without a problem I was playing. This pad has worked with my emulators and all the games I have used it on.

The only problem I have had with this pad is its (8-way)d-pad. When I frist started using the d-pad I would go down/up + left/right when i just wanted to go left/right. After playing for a an hour I got used to it and can control the d-pad fine. My brother went through this process to.

If you want a good [inexpensive] pad this is it.
Happy Gaming

Had this controller for about a year and still works great!
It doesn't work on all of my games(spy hunter) but I'm not complaining!!!

This is my first game pad, it is a very reliable and pretty long lasting game pad. I got the game pad a few years ago, but dispite the fact that it is an older verison, I highly recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome gamepad!   December 14, 2003

I bought this gamepad to replace my old Microsoft Sidewinder Gameport Gamepad that was the original version made for Windows 95. It got the job done, but I wanted something better. I've had great experiences with Logitech in the past, so I decided give the Action gamepad a try.

Well, I've had this thing only a couple days, and I can honestly say I love it! It's obviously got a USB connection, so it's very convenient to be able to plug it into my computer's front-side port. It is built very sturdily and the controls are quite responsive. I mainly use it for Need for Speed Underground and the Action Gamepad works perfectly with it.

If you're looking for a gamepad, get this one! It's built with quality and won't break the bank.
